Gardening is usually one of those things that people like in theory but don’t really have either the time or resources for in reality. If you are one of those people who would love to have some fresh flowers and plants around your home, but you either don’t have time to tend a real garden, or you don’t have the space to plant one, then window box gardening could be for you. Window box gardening has all of the benefits of traditional gardening, but window boxes are easier to maintain and can be used by anyone. Window boxes also have the added benefit of making the flowers and the plants easier to see from inside the house, which means you don’t have to sit outside to enjoy your handiwork.

If you think window boxes are for you, before you can get into the fun part of choosing plants for your box, you have to first consider where you are going to place the window box. Where you box is placed will dictate which kinds of flowers you can have in it. Ideally, you want your window box to either get full sun or part sun – if it is totally in the shade, you will be limited when it comes to picking flowering plants. Of course, window boxes are loved by apartment dwellers, and the surrounding buildings can impact the level of sun. Don’t forget to consider things like the color of the surrounding buildings. Even if buildings shade your window box, if those buildings are white, they can reflect enough sun to allow you to plant full sun plants. If the surrounding buildings are dark, even if your plants seem to get full sun, you might have better luck with part sun plants because the dark buildings will absorb some of the sun.

Crucially, you must also consider the wind. This issue becomes especially important if you live several floors up. Wind speed increases are you go higher in the air, and heavy winds can be detrimental to sensitive plants. Even more important to remember, however, is that a falling window box can be deadly to people walking below. Choose a sturdy box with a good system of attachment to your window so your box doesn’t become a deadly projectile to people walking below in heavy winds, and preferably, place your box in some place that is shaded from the wind.

Once you have found the perfect place for your window box, you can get around to choosing your box yourself. Window boxes are generally made of four materials – clay, plastic, metal, or wood. The choice really comes down to which look you like the best. However, plastic is generally the cheapest, sturdiest and easiest to work with. Clay is often extremely heavy, because it needs to be glazed and it needs to be thick to handle the soil.

Now for the fun part: choosing the plants. Your gardening center will be able to give you advice on the best kinds of plants for the temperatures in your area and which kinds of soils you will need for the plants you pick. Be sure the plants are compatible with the level of sun your window box will get. Also be careful about overcrowding your window box, which will cause weeds to grow.

Flowers in window boxes tend to grow away from the window, but if you want the flowers to be equally visible inside and out, flip your window box around every few days. This will cause the flowers to grow vertically instead of out, so you will be able to enjoy your window box from all angles.

The sight of a butterfly adds an irresistible beauty and charm to any garden. If you would like to add more butterflies to your garden, here are some tips to get you started. For the best results, focus on creating a healthy, diverse and colorful garden that will attract butterflies to your home on a year-round basis.

What Kind of Plants Should You Plant to Attract Butterflies?

There are many plants that are known to attract butterflies. Choose a variety of nectar producing plants that will be in bloom throughout the season. For the best results, plant your nectar producing plants in staggered intervals so that something will always be blooming in your garden, and those that you have butterflies in your garden on a year-round basis. For the best results, you will want to have flowers in bloom from mid to late summer. This is the period in which butterflies are most active. Look for flowers that have multiple florets, as these are known to produce more nectar.

Working With Annuals for Optimal Results

Annual plants are known to attract butterflies because they usually have the brightest, most showy blooms. It is no wonder that butterflies are attracted to these plants! Many annuals will bloom continuously through the season. Choose long and continuously blooming annuals so that you have a steady supply of nectar to offer your butterfly population. Visit your local nursery to get the best selection of seasonal annuals, or plant seeds after the last frost. Opt for colorful and fragrant plants that provide long blooms, but avoid double blooms.

Perennials Can Provide Your Butterflies with a Constant Nectar Supply

There are also many fine perennial plants that can provide a constant supply of nectar throughout the blooming season. Perennial plants that are known to attract butterflies include coneflowers, asters, butterfly weed and lilacs. In general, plant members of the mint family, which are known for their rich nectar stores. A good guideline is to avoid double flowers because these are often short on nectar.

Create a Butterfly Jar to Supplement your Garden

There are many easy ways to supplement your garden’s nectar supply. You can create your own homemade butterfly feeder that will attract more butterflies to your garden. Use an inverted baby food jar and drill a hole in the center of the lid. Plug the hole with cotton and fill the baby food jar with a solution of one part sugar and nine parts water. Finally, attach a brightly colored fabric petal to the lid. This will make your feeder much more appealing to butterflies. Hang the butterfly feeder in your garden so that you will attract a larger butterfly population.

Create a Watering Hole for Your Butterfly Population

Like all living things, butterflies need water to live. They are known to frequent puddles, so if you really want to draw butterflies to your garden, make sure that there is a small water source for them to stop at. Butterflies tend to frequent small puddles. Many males of various butterfly species are known to gather around small rain pools. It is easy to create your own permanent puddle that can act as a butterfly meeting spot. You can do this by burying a bucket up to the rim in your garden, fill it partly with sand or gravel and then pour liquid into the bucket. You can apply natural sweeteners, such as water, sweet drinks, overripe fruit and let them sit there for a few days. This is an incredibly attractive place for butterflies, so there is a good chance that your garden may become a favorite congregating point for your local butterfly population.

Almost nothing is as rewarding as spending an afternoon outside, working on the family garden. Gardening as a family is a wonderful way to bond and to teach your children about their environment. Even if you don’t think that you have time to garden with your family, there are many things that you can in fact do to make certain that your garden is always in bloom. Here are some low maintenance gardening ideas for the busy family.

Create a Raised Garden Bed

Need an easy way to teach your kids about gardening? A raised garden bed is an easy way to establish a no-fuss, no-muss garden. Choose a space in your garden, patio, deck, yard or whatever space you have available, and restrict your family garden to this one raised garden bed. Make sure to plant hardy perennials that will not require constant care and attention. Keep a watering can by your raised garden so that you or your children can water the bed at a moment’s notice.

Plant Your Own Windowsill Herb Garden

Want an easy way to teach your kids some gardening basics? A windowsill herb garden is a fun and simple way to learn about the basic growth pattern of plants, and to reap the rewards of your work. Moreover, a windowsill herb garden does not take up a lot of space, nor do you need a lot of time and money to establish a healthy, thriving herb garden. Moreover, you can even enjoy the results together by using your herb gardens in a family mean.

Start Your Own Family Cactus Garden

Here is a fun and creative way to garden together as a family without having to spend a whole lot of time or money. Start a family cactus garden that adds color and texture to your garden, without taking a lot of your time. Start by picking out pots that you and your kids can paint. Let your children express their creativity by using different paint colors and craft supplies to decorate their own pot. Then it’s off to the nursery to pick out cacti. Each member of your family should choose cacti that fit into your pot. Use a soil specially prepared for cacti and help your children pick out cacti. Cacti come in a variety of shape, sizes and colors. When it comes to planting cacti, make certain that you wear thick gloves and handle the plants with care so that you do not get pricked. Cacti do not need daily maintenance, and can create an earthy and fun environment for your children and family to enjoy. Try to choose blooming cacti so you and your family can plan to enjoy seasonal blooms.

Plant a Family Tree

Want a project that the whole family can do together? Why not plant a family tree? You don’t have to wait until Arbor Day to plant a tree. Take a trip to the nursery together and pick out a tree that is suited for your area. Consult with a nursery attendant if you are not sure what kind of tree you should be planting. Let your kid’s help you choose the perfect location and dig the hole. Planting a tree together is a wonderful experience that the whole family will remember for years to come. Set up a periodical watering schedule that works for the whole family. Although it takes a bit of pre-planning, once the tree is planted, this garden project will not take up a lot of your family’s time. With luck, this low maintenance garden project will be enjoyed by future generations of garden-lovers.

Bamboo is one of those plants that strikes fear in the hearts of gardeners. It looks great, and many people would love to make this exotic plant a part of their garden, but everyone has heard at least one scare story about taking over entire gardens, running to neighbors’ yards and beyond, destroying everything in its path. So, what exactly is the truth about bamboo? Is it a plant eater, destined to make your garden its own, or can bamboo plants reside peacefully beside all of your other plants?

The answer is a little bit of both. There are some kinds of bamboo plants that have a mind of their own and will take over your entire yard (and then some) at will. There are other kinds of bamboo plants, however, that can look great in your gardening scheme, and better yet, can grow there safely. These two different kinds of bamboo fall into two main categories – runners and clumpers.

As you might guess from the name, runners, also known as running bamboo, is the kind of bamboo that takes off running as soon as you plant it. What happens with this kind of bamboo is that is spreads rhizomes underground if there is a crack in the branch when it is plants (and there will almost always be a crack a in the plant, no matter how careful you are). These rhizomes can travel remarkable distances through the soil, well beyond your yard, and the bamboo will begin to grow wherever the rhizomes travel. Because the rhizomes create one big plant, despite the fact that the above ground growth may be spotty, it is nearly impossible to stop once the spread has begun.

If you live in a temperate area and want bamboo, however, runners are you only choice. The good news is that with the right planting techniques, you can manage runners. When you plant your bamboo, surround the plant with a plastic edge of at least 2 feet under ground – this will keep the rhizomes contained.

The other kinds of bamboo plants – clumping bamboos, or clumpers – do not have the runaway root structure of runners. This kind of bamboo plant spreads a little bit each year, but it overgrows only by a few inches, which is comparable to other perennial plants. The downside of clumpers is that they primarily thrive in tropical zones. There are some hybrid versions that can live in colder weather, but these can be extremely expensive.

If you want to give bamboo a try in your garden, make sure you know what you are getting. Many gardening centers, either through ignorance or design, attempt to sell running bamboo as clumping bamboo. A good rule of thumb to know is that unless you are purchasing bamboo in a tropical area, the bamboo on sale at your local gardening center will always be running bamboo. If you are unsure, plant your bamboo with a plastic underground enclosure anyway, which will not harm clumping bamboo and will stop running bamboo before it starts.

The best way to purchase bamboo may not be in a gardening center at all. Unless your local shop specializes in this relatively exotic plant, your best bet may be to purchase online. That way, you can buy your plants from a reputable dealer who is qualified to tell you exactly what you are getting. For the sake of the rest of the plants in your garden, dealing with a professional can be the best way to make sure you are handling your bamboo properly.

If your bamboo begins to run in your garden, call out a professional gardener immediately. The roots will spread into your neighbor’s yard and can cause costly damage, and you will not be able to stop it on your own. A professional gardener can help save the day.

Are you new to gardening and want to create a beautiful garden design without shelling out a lot of cash to get it done? Do you need advice on how and where to plant things, but you don’t have the money to pay a professional gardener or landscape architect to help you pull things together. You are not alone. Gardening can be a fulfilling hobby that lasts a lifetime, but if you are not careful, it can also become an extremely expensive one. The good news is that there are tons and tons of bits of free information out there for the taking that can help you get your gardening and planting endeavors off the ground. With all of this information at hand, you can save for money for the things you really want to spend it on in your garden – getting new, unique plants and flowers.

When you are looking for gardening ideas, the first thing you have to do is narrow down your search. There is so much information out there that you will be overwhelmed unless you specifically search for one thing or another. For instance, are you a window box gardener? Then look for resources online that offer tips and tools for gardening in window boxes, like how to make your flowers grow towards your house instead of away by flipping your window boxes every few days and how to use full sun flowers in areas that only get part sun by using the reflective power of light colored buildings around your window.

If you want to re-do your back yard with a great new design, look online for themed garden projects. You can find advice for creating a traditional English garden, a Zen Japanese garden, a garden with a water feature, a garden that is perfect for kids and many more ideas. You can also find tips on pruning and shaping shrubbery or using geometrically shaped raised garden beds to create the look you are after.

Perhaps you want to get your garden growing, but you live in a cold climate and aren’t sure what plants will work. The internet is filled with free information about which plants to use, such as ivy, heather, poppies and witch hazel, as well as how to care for them in the cold weather. Find out how to plant tender flowers in hardy climates by placing them in the shade and how to leave a little snow on your plants to protect them from the elements.

If you are an old hand at gardening, but you are looking for some way to introduce your children into you favorite pastime, use the free gardening advice online to find out what plants easiest for children to care for, and which plants are safe for them to be around. For instance, find out how to plant a sunflower garden your child can easily tend without your help.

Of course, if you are an old gardening pro, or even if you are novice with a natural green thumb, the best free gardening advice may come from you. Hobbyist gardeners often enjoy visiting online chat rooms to swap garden war stories and trade tips and techniques to getting the best bloom in their gardens. Get online and share you know how – you might be surprised how much you really do know!

If you can’t find the free gardening and planting advice you need online, a trip to your local garden center should take care of the rest. These centers are filled with professional gardeners who can be a great resource for getting gardening advice tailored specifically for your area.

Do you wish you want to establish your own garden, but you simply do not have the space? If so, don’t give up. With a little creativity, you will find that there are many ways to establish a fine garden without the use of much space. When space is short, let your ingenuity take over. Here are some ideas for saving space and time while still being able to establish your own garden to enjoy and share.

Using Decorative Containers to Create Your Own Garden Oasis

Who said that a proper garden should always be big and expansive? The truth is that you can create your own garden oasis with just a few strategically placed gardening planters. If you are an apartment dweller with no yard to speak of, take heed. There are many easy ways to establish a garden oasis without a yard. If you have access to patio, fire escape or rooftop, you are well on your way to your own version of gardening paradise. Choose colorful (depending on your taste and environment) and decorative planters. Choose a variety of planter sizes, from very small herb-sized containers to large gallon planters. Choose hardy perennial plants that do not need to be cared for on a daily basis. Container gardening is a boon to gardeners that are short on space because you can move your garden around to your liking, and create a unique garden design.

Choosing the Best Plants if you are Short on Space and Time

One of the easiest ways to establish a space- and time-saving garden is to choose the right plants from the very start. What are the right plants for a space- and time-saving garden? Ideally, you will want small plants that do not require an excessive amount of water, sun, pruning or any kind of daily care. Consider a cactus garden made up of many different varieties, colors, textures and blooms. Many cacti do well in container gardens, and typically they do not need extended care. Simply make sure that they are well established in their respective containers and place in a sunny location. There is an incredible amount of diversity in cacti, and you will surely appreciate the color and texture that this kind of garden can provide your home with. Choose hardy perennials to accent your cactus garden.

Look Up – Hanging Planters Saves You Space

Look up – what do you see? One of the best ways to save space is to take advantage of hanging planters. Hanging planters are easy to install. You can choose from a variety of planter designs and sizes. No matter where you live – apartment, condo or small house – chances are that you can find space for a hanging planter. These add a lively decorative touch to your patio, backyard or even in a sunny indoor location. There are many hardy perennials that do well in this environment. Choose easy to care for plants so that you don’t have to worry about a daily watering schedule. Invest in a watering can designed for planter watering so that when it does come time to water, it is a quick and efficient process.

Raised Beds Give You Space to Grow Fruits and Flowers

If you are working with limited space or poor soil, consider building or installing a raised bed. Raised beds come in all sizes and it is an easy way to control the plant environment. You can build a raised bed to your space specifications, and plant a variety of plants and flowers in a single bed. With your own raised garden bed, you can even grow your very own vegetables!

Do you love to garden, but simply don’t have the time for tool maintenance? Here are some tips that will help you keep your tools ready for gardening without taking up a lot of your time. These simple tips can help keep your tools viable for years to come.

For Larger Gardens, Keep Two Tools Handy

If you have a large yard or garden space, but not a lot of time to maintain your garden tools, the easiest way to ensure that you always have the tools you need at your disposal is to keep two of every major tool in your garden shed. Rather than relying on one favorite shovel, invest in a second shovel to keep in your tool shed. That way, if one shovel should go dull, you will always have a second one ready for use at a moments notice. Don’t let a dull shovel keep you from gardening when you have time. You may also want to keep several hand tools at your disposal.

Cover the Pipes in Cold Weather

This is an easy maintenance tip that can save your watering hose and pipes during cold weather. Keep thick protective covering on hand that you can use to wrap around your pipes during cold weather. This easy step can save you money and time on damaged pipes.

Schedule a Tool Sharpening Expedition

Many people find tool maintenance time-consuming because it seems like a tool goes dull at just the wrong moment. Sporadic repairs are time-consuming and annoying. Avoid this by scheduling a tool sharpening expedition. Take one afternoon to gather all of your tools and take them to your local tool repair or home repair shop for a thorough sharpening. Simply scheduling a tool sharpening expedition once or twice yearly will keep your tools in fine shape and ready for use at a moments notice. Gather your spade, hoe, shovel, pruning tools, garden scissors, hand tools and other gardening tools and drop them off at your local hardware store for a thorough tool sharpening.

Prevent Tool Damage By Taking a Few Easy Precautions

There are many small precautions that you can take that will prevent tool damage. These precautions should only take a few minutes out of your gardening schedule. First, protect garden tools from extreme temperature. Although this may not occur to you, exposure to excessive sunlight, rain or cold temperatures can drastically reduce the efficacy of your tools. This is where storage comes into play. If you have a tool shed, garden shed or other protective outdoor area, make sure that you gather your tools after a gardening session and store them away. This simple act can dramatically increase the longevity and efficacy of your tools. Get in the habit of putting things away, and your tools will suffer much less wear.

Keep Your Lawn Mower Properly Stored

If you are like most people who keep a green lawn, you probably have some kind of lawn mower stored away. Lawn mowers often represent the most expensive yard maintenance tools that you have. Avoid damaging your lawn mower by keeping it stored improperly. Improper storage can cut years off the life of your lawn mover. Protect your investment by keeping your lawn mower properly covered at all times. Invest in a strong, plastic lawn mower cover. Better yet, store the lawn mower in a shed or other covered location, whenever possible. Also, keeping your lawn mower cutters properly sharpened can also help increase its longevity and efficiency. Set a schedule for having the cutters sharpened at least once a year, depending on the size of your lawn and use.

Gardening is a healthy and fun hobby that can help you stay in good shape. However, gardening can also be hard on the body, especially on the knees and lower back. Here are some easy exercise tips that can help you avoid garden injuries.

Stretch Before a Long Garden Session

If you are planning a long day in the garden, prepare your body by stretching properly. Just as you might stretch before a long walk or run, gardening often consists of several repeated movements, causing your muscles to become strained or even causing injury. Any experienced gardener knows that a long day in the garden is often followed by a few aches and muscle soreness the following day. Avoid this by making certain that you stretch your body, paying special attention to your legs and lower back. Make certain that your muscles are properly ‘warmed up’ before you hit the garden.

Stretches to Keep Your Body Flexible and Injury-Free

Here are some tips on stretching to keep your body flexible and injury-free during your gardening session. Do a sun stretch by interlocking your fingers and stretching your hands over your head in a long comfortable stretch. Warm up your knees for the gardening session ahead by sitting on the ground with your legs stretched out before you. Reach for your toes with your fingertips while keeping your legs straight. Hold the stretch for a few seconds time, and then repeat. Finally, stand up and reach for your toes while keeping your legs straight. Do not strain yourself. Hold the stretch for a few seconds.

Use the Right Kind of Gardening Tools

In recent years, research has brought to attention the importance of using ergonomic tools. Every tool you use should fit well in your hand. If the tool you pick up does not immediately feel comfortable in your grip, chances are that it can cause an injury. When buying garden hand tools, look for those with firm yet flexible rubber grips. Avoid oversized hand tools that do not fit comfortable in your hands. Choose gardening gloves that are thick enough to prevent cuts and pricks from thorns and needles. As for spades, shovels and other larger gardening tools, make sure that wooden handles are smooth and free from splinters. Even if you have a favorite spade, hoe or shovel, if it has a rough handle, put it aside until the handle can be replaced or smoothed down. Splinters are painful and can cause infection.

Avoid Knee Troubles By Using a Garden Cushion

Gardening accessories and tools are now being designed with the gardener’s comfort in mind. Many gardeners suffer from knee injuries from remaining kneeled on the hard ground for long stretches of time. Avoid this by using a handy garden knee cushion. If you plan on working on the same bed or space of land for an extended period of time, these inexpensive garden cushions can be a comfortable way to save your knees.

Vary Your Body Motions and Take Plenty of Breaks

One of the easiest ways to avoid knee and back problems while gardening is to make sure that you are varying your body movements and taking plenty of breaks. It may seem like common sense, but it can be very easy to become involved in a garden project and forget to take breaks and stretch. Do not ignore aches. As soon as you feel your legs, knees, back or other area begin to ache, take a break and change position. Instead of working on one long involved garden project, vary your tasks so that you are frequently moving.

Gardening can be a healthy and fun way to beautify your environment and get some exercise. But it is nearly impossible to get anything done in the garden with efficiency if you do not spend some time organizing your gardening tools and materials. If you have a shed that is full of clutter, this alone is probably costing you a lot of valuable gardening time. Here are some tips for conquering the clutter in your shed in order to make gardening easier.

What’s in that Old Shed, Anyways?

If you haven’t peeked in that shed for a while, chances are that this is question worth asking. What is in that old shed? Is it a place where you have stored old tools, planting soil or building materials? Chances are that you might even have a few hidden treasures in that old shed that you completely forgot you had. The first step to organizing your gardening so that it becomes a more efficient and pleasant practice is to take a full inventory of what is in your gardening shed. Cross off a whole afternoon for this task, or (depending on the size of the shed) a whole day. Wear thick work gloves and begin to remove items so that you can get a close look at all those things you’ve had stored away.

Determine Whether Your Shed Needs Repair

You may find that your old shed is need of repair. Depending on the type of building materials, sheds are often prone to rust, wood rot, roof problems or other types of repairs. Are you willing to invest the money and time for a proper repair? Decide whether the shed is still viable, and whether it would be more cost-effective to repair or replace it. In many cases, your shed may just need a thorough sweeping and clearing out. Now is the time to get that project done.

Decide What’s Useful and What’s Not

Once you have dragged out all those things in your gardening shed and taken stock of what you have, it is time to decide what is useful and what’s not. Many of us store old tools in our garden sheds that aren’t quite what they used to be. Decide which tools are still useful to you, and which are well past their prime. Separate your old tools into two piles: tools that can be repaired, and tools that would be better off being discarded. If you find that you have accumulated a lot of tools that are in need of repair, make an appointment to get them fixed and stick to this day. You can get axes and old-fashioned mowers re-sharpened at home repair shops. Conversely, make a date to get rid of the tools that you do not need anymore, or those that are well beyond repair, and stick to this date.

Designate Space and Corners

Once you have cleared out your shed, it is time to organize for maximum efficiency. You want to make your shed as user-friendly as possible. That is, ask yourself: what can I do to make my shed work for me? If you haven’t stepped foot into your shed before now, why did you avoid it? Was it too dirty, too cluttered or just too unpleasant? Use these guidelines to determine how you should organize your shed. Designate space for your tools, pots, gardening material and leave enough space so that you can easily enter and exit the shed. To prevent future clutter, set a new rule: every time you store something new in your gardening shed, one item must come out (and stay out). Make your garden shed work for you, and you will find that gardening will become much more efficient.

Many of us desire a lush green garden with fragrant colorful flowers to enhance or complement the look of our houses. But as so often, dreams are limited by money in our society. Landscaping can be expensive and hiring a landscape designer is with a regular budget the most unlikely thing that you would do. But do not give up yet. You can achieve a stunning garden with less money with these cheap and easy gardening tips.

First of all, one of the biggest budget breakers in landscaping is labor. If you want to save money big time while getting the most beautiful garden on the street, do the work your self. Just as plumbing, car repair, house remodeling takes huge amounts in labor, so does landscaping, but landscaping does not require a skilled person. Landscaping can be done by anyone. Of course the design might be rather difficult to achieve, but you can always get great ideas and looks from garden magazines, at your local garden center and online. Many garden projects are easy to do. Some hard work and so-called sweat equity is all that you need.

Next on the list, which is also a budget breaker, not quite as bad as the labor, is the material itself. Rather than choosing expensive flagstone or similar, go ahead and choose a cheaper alternative, maybe even a fake alternative that is a look alike. This way you can save big time and still achieve the look you were going for. Instead of the expensive special plant from china, buy a nice plant or shrub that looks similar and is indigenous to your area, which often means cheaper in price. Also, if you plan ahead you can be rewarded. If you are taking your time to get your garden done, you can plant your shrubs, trees and perennials in fall. Many garden centers reduce their prices drastically at the end of fall. People do not want to buy the plants anymore because the plants have started to change into their fall/winter outfit and are loosing their leaves or changing color. This means nothing bad in perennials, trees and shrubs. In spring these plants will get back to their beautiful spring/summer look just like all the other plants that might have been in your garden for years or the ones you would buy new, but you saved a ton of money by planting them in fall. As many garden stores quite right say, fall is for planting.

Another cheap and easy way to get color in your garden in spring and summer is by planting different perennials that grow from bulbs. Tulips, crocus and daffodils for spring, gladiolas and lilies for summer can give you a great flowering look all spring and summer for a fraction of the cost. Planting bulbs in fall in a strategic order can save you from buying overprized annuals in spring.

A great look for very little money can be achieved by using mulch throughout your garden. But when buying mulch and mulch is needed for more than one small flower bed or two, do not buy the bags at your local garden center. Buying mulch buy the bag is o expensive. Rather have it delivered in a big amount form your local landscape material supplier and save. Mulch comes in many colors and can make your garden look topnotch.

As you can see, you can achieve a attractive and stunning garden for a lot less than you might have thought and those garden dreams can actually come true. Any garden can live up to its potential if you get creative with budget friendly materials.
